The St. Luke’s Foundation is excited to bring back the Circle of Light Gala again after a break during COVID.

The Lake Superior Ballroom is being transformed for the Friday evening event, which is the 19th. The silent auction starts at 5:30, with dinner at 7pm. Then there’s awards and a live auction.

“This is a big night for St Luke’s. It’s our first time in person since 2019, so we’re really excited about that. Just to have everybody back together. And it’s a great night to celebrate all the good things and the growth and the development that we need to serve our patients better. So this is it is a big night and people are anxious to get together and just see one another,” shared Catherine Carter Huber, executive director of the foundation.

There will be employees honored and recognized, as well as major fundraising for the relocation and expansion of Rehabilitation Services.

“So we’re getting a newer, larger space where we can see more patients, where we can do more care,” explained Eva Trueblood-Pearce, the supervisor. “Everyone from those with chronic health conditions to our sports minded, our athletes, those types of populations. We also added some expanded pediatric space, and so it’ll allow us to expand our offerings to our really little ones all the way down to infants, up to pre-teen and those age groups. It will really allow us to treat every single person birth to past retirement.”
