HOVSCO has launched the HovBeta foldable e-bike. The bicycle has a 750 W brushless gear hub motor that delivers up to 85 Nm of torque, helping you to tackle inclines up to 40 degrees. The motor can assist you at speeds up to 28 mph (~45 kph) across five modes. A torque sensor pedal assist system can automatically adjust the assistance power based on how you are pedalling. You can also ride with only the engine, without pedalling, at up to 20 mph (~32 mph). 

A detachable 720 Wh battery provides over 60 miles (~100 km) range; the company claims the battery will have 80% of its original capacity after 1,000 cycles. An unusual feature is an LED strip along one side of the battery, allowing you to use it as a torch. The HovBeta has a built-in LCD, showing information such as your speed and battery charge. Plus, you can recharge other gadgets via a USB port on the bicycle and control various settings via a smartphone app.

The 20-in tires and shock absorption system provide a comfortable ride. The bicycle can fold down, making it easier to transport or store. The e-bike has an aluminum alloy frame, with the bike weighing 66 lbs (~30 kg). The bicycle can support a total payload of 450 lbs (~204 kg). Customers in the US can pre-order the HOVSCO HovBeta e-bike with a US$100 discount until August 15, with only 100 units available for this period. The bicycle usually retails for US$1,799 and can be ordered in red or blue.
